Police and fire officials are joining forces to investigate a string of suspicious fires in Wellington County.
OPP, Halton Police, the Ontario Fire Marshall, and surrounding fire departments are now working together to try and find those responsible for setting 18 fires in the County of Wellington area since September of 2016.
Investigators say they’re waiting for evidence seized at each of the scenes to be analyzed, and are still working to determine if there is any possible relationship between the fires.
Police are reminding us to report any suspicious activity in the area, and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
