It was a strange sight for motorists travelling through Erin on Wednesday morning as two large serpents were spotted slithering along a busy highway.
Wellington County OPP received reports around 8:30 a.m. regarding a “very large boa constrictor” which was spotted travelling along Tenth Line just north of Highway 124.
Police arrived and were able to track down two six-foot long snakes– one was in a lethargic state, and the other had died.
The local SPCA branch was called in to collect the snakes.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
