Pedestrian sent to hospital after being hit by transit bus

A collision between a GRT bus and a pedestrian has sent one woman to hospital.

It happened Sunday night around 9 p.m. at Block Line and Westmount in Kitchener.

The pedestrian, a 19 year-old female, has non-life threatening injuries.

Regional Police say charges are pending, and weather and visibility were a factor.
