This number of collisions involving pedestrians has increased since 2014 by 6%.

When it comes to the most dangerous roundabouts popping up around the Region of Waterloo, Franklin and Pinebush in Cambridge leads the ranking, followed closely by Franklin and Bishop, and Franklin and Sheldon.

The municipality with the highest amount of collisions in 2016 was Kitchener at 2352, followed by Cambridge at 1610, and Waterloo at 1146.

Historically over the past five years, the majority of crashes have been caused by a driver following too closely.
