City of Cambridge back at the table with CUPE Local 1882

The City of Cambridge says they are back at the table with the Union representing indoor workers.

Both sides are trying to get a deal done before the strike deadline at 12:01 a.m., Friday.

The City has said they are willing to extend that deadline and continue to talk.

The Union, CUPE Local 1882, represents about 140 administrative and technical staff as well as by-law officers and building inspectors.
