Man extorted by escort in Cambridge

Police are reminding us of the risks associated with using escort services after an incident in Cambridge.
Police say a 54-year-old man invited an escort to a Cambridge hotel room on Monday and was extorted.
The escort forced the man to drive to a nearby bank machine and take out money.
No one was injured but police say using escorts is always dangerous as they may have links to organized crime and many will prey on clients knowing its unlikely the matter will be reported to police out of fear or embarrassment.
