The collision happened yesterday morning around 7:00 a.m.
Police say a cyclist was waiting to turn left from Victoria Street onto Duke Street when she was rear-ended by a car.
The impact caused the cyclist, a 25-year-old female, to be thrown from her bike across the intersection.

Police say the cyclist was not wearing a helmet.
The driver of the car has been charged with careless driving and failing to share the roadway with a bicycle.
