It’s a big day for Apple.

The company’s latest device, the iPhone 7, is hit stores Friday.

There’s an Apple store at Waterloo’s Conestoga Mall and some people started lining up earlier in the morning.

Employees cheered when the first customers walked in.

The iPhone 7 features wireless headphones, which means there’s no headphone jack. Smartphones users seem divided over whether or not that update is a good idea.

The phone also has an updated camera and it comes in a few colours including the new jet black. The iPhone 7 sells for about $900.
