Dogs welcome on the Boathouse patio

It’s the dog days of summer and a local restaurant is offering up their patio to your pooch.
The Boathouse at Victoria Park in Kitchener has made their patio dog-friendly.
Owner Mark Forwell says having a patio accessible to dogs was a natural fit with their location.
“Victoria Park is the dogs walkers destination so it goes hand-in-hand with that.”
Forwell says the decision to make the patio dog-friendly came after a guest asked to bring their dog on the patio but adds they only allow three dogs at a time.
Forwell jokes they haven’t had any problems with under aged dogs drinking.
