Kitchener’s new basketball team now has a name.

The KW Titans will make their debut in the NBL in December. The name was selected out of over 500 entries sent in by the public.

Former Wilfrid Laurier women’s basketball coach Stu Julius has also been announced as the team’s first general manager.

The Titans say he has been involved in elite level basketball for over 30 years.
