Alleged stalking incident ends in arrest in Kitchener

An arrest has been made in connection with an alleged stalking incident in Kitchener.
Regional Police say a 24-year-old woman was walking alone in the area of Westmount and Highland late Saturday morning when she noticed a man was following her – lurking in a secluded area.
Police say she snapped a picture of the man and called 9-1-1.
An arrest was made a short time later.
A 21-year-old man is charged with criminal harassment.
Police recommend if you are walking alone, do so in heavily populated areas and be aware of your surroundings.
