Winter storm warning lifted

A winter storm warning has now been lifted for Waterloo Region, Guelph and Wellington County.

The Texas low that moved into the area yesterday and into the overnight dumped anywhere from 10 to 25 centimetres of snow on the province.

The snow is expected to taper off to flurries this morning, but the wind will be the next big challenge.

Environment Canada says gusty winds will result in reduced visibility at times, as well as blowing and drifting snow.
