Rainfall warning issued for Waterloo Region

Environment Canada is calling for heavy rain in Waterloo Region and surrounding areas this evening and overnight.
We may briefly experience ice pellets or freezing rain this evening, as well as a thunderstorm.
The weather authority says that rain amounts could reach up to 30 mm and that flooding is also possible in low-lying areas.
