Just fourteen minutes after we celebrated the start of 2016 a Guelph family celebrated the birth of a baby girl at Guelph General Hospital.
In Cambridge, a baby girl named Alexandrea Sady Lynne was born at 12:54 weighing 7 pounds 14 ounces to Lincoln McLaren and Mike Ferrier.
Meantime in Kitchener-Waterloo, another baby girl Miko was born at Grand River Hospital at 2:55 a.m. to
parents Angie and Eric Wilson of Kitchener.
Mom Angie says she was keeping her eye on the clock.
“I was having a contraction during new years and I am really glad we made it to January 1st. It is really exciting for our families.”
Angie says Miko was due back on Boxing Day and was scheduled to have a C-Section on Monday.
This is the second child for the Wilson family.
