Work on the region’s LRT will be halted for the holidays starting December 23rd until January 4th.

Grandlinq’s website says work will be minimal in construction areas in that time, but crews will return to complete the necessary relocation, upgrading of utilities, and track installation in the new year.

Meantime, tonight in Waterloo, Northfield from King to Conestogo will be closed for ION work, a detour is in place to get you around the area.

As well, LRT work has Northfield at King St closed nightly until Wednesday.
