The new south Kitchener elementary school scheduled to open in September 2017 officially has it’s name!
Trustees approved the school located on Thomas Slee Drive, will be named Groh Public School.
Named after one of the first families to settle in the region, the name is also meant to serve as a double entendre, as students grow and achieve success throughout their school journey.
The school will accommodate around 600 students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8.
