A Kitchener man faces several charges following a sexual assault investigation launched by Regional Police.

Police are not able to release a lot of information saying they must protect the identity of the alleged victim and her family.

46-year-old Daniel Laverne Hanna of Kitchener is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and breach of a prohibition order.

Police do ask anyone who may have information that can help with the investigation to contact them.
