Former Woolwich mayor Todd Cowan turns himself in after warrant was issued

Another arrest warrant had been issued for the former Woolwich Mayor Todd Cowan after he did not show up for a scheduled court date.

Cowan turned himself in on Tuesday afternoon.

Cowan was supposed to be in court in connection with the fraud and breach of trust charges laid against him in 2014.

He is accused of billing both the township and the region for the same expenses while he was mayor.
