Thousands of donations collected at Oktoberfest Family Breakfast

It was another successful Oktoberfest Family Breakfast!
Rogers Kitchener Radio Group hosted the 34th annual free family breakfast yesterday morning. With your help, over $4000 was raised for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
There was also over 4000 lbs of non-perishable food items collected, which will provide more than 15,000 meals.
Members of the 570 News crew, as well as our sister stations CHYM FM and Country 106.7, helped provide pancakes and sausages prepared by the students of the Conestoga College Culinary Program.
We’d like to thank those involved and everyone in the community for coming out and making the day a success.
