Cambridge roundabout construction underway

Cambridge drivers should use caution when planning their routes as more road work starts along Franklin Blvd.

Phase 2 of the installation of roundabouts on Franklin starts between Pinebush Road and Bishop Street start today.

The first phase is already underway along Franklin between Clyde and Main Street.

Lane restrictions may be up for awhile though- longer closures will be in place to help alleviate congestion.

Work is expected to be completed by next summer.
