Parents of public elementary school students in Waterloo Region should have a clearer idea today of what their kids’ report cards will look like this month.
The school board is to make an announcement later this morning.
In light of work to rule action by teachers, some boards have abandoned the traditional report cards, opting instead for something simple, such as a letter saying pass or fail.
The boards maintain it is extremely difficult to input all of the information necessary for full report cards without the help of teachers.
