Guelph Hydro hit by technical email glitch

Guelph Hydro is trying to reassure customers their personal information has not been comprised.
This after a technical glitch occurred yesterday while it was performing internal maintenance on its computer systems.
At that time, some emails were inadvertently sent out to customers thanking them for contacting Guelph Hydro.
In a statement, the utility admits it did cause some confusion and concern, but it says, “all customer data and other private information remains secure and was not compromised in any way during this event.”
It advises customers to simply delete the emails.
