A man has now been charged after a police chase on the 401 through Waterloo Region Sunday Night.
Police say 27-year-old Abdulkadir Mohammed from Kitchener failed to stop during a R.I.D.E. check stop on the Hwy 8 NB ramp from Sportswold Dr.
The vehicle was stopped on Highway 401 eastbound near the OnRoute service centre by Townline after a brief pursuit.
He faces 12 charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of marihuana.
