A vigil will be held tonight at 8:30 for a Kitchener man who was shot by police last week. 20-year-old Beau Baker was shot at 77 Brybeck Crescent around 9:15pm on Thursday. He later died in hospital. A demonstration is also being organized for Tuesday at 3pm in front of Kitchener City Hall. The Special Investigations Unit is now probing the shooting. It has assigned eight investigators to look into the circumstances of the shooting. The agency also says one subject officer and seven witness officers have been designated.
