Ontario is considering a change in the requirements for reporting auto collisions.
The Toronto Star reports the province may increase the mandatory reporting limit for collisions when no injuries are involved from $1,000 to $2,000.
The current $1,000 reporting limit was set in 1998.
Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca says the update is important to keep up with what’s in the marketplace.
A decision will be made once a public comment period ends on May 4th.
