Finally…Ontarians are starting to get out of hibernation mode – thanks to the warm(ish)temperatures (environment Canada says high of 8 tomorrow) Regardless the sun is out…and we know that spring is right around the corner – tomorrow! With the nicer weather, comes the realization that we may not be looking our best – and that we may not be quite ready to get into our bathing suits come summer. Health tips range from a mass consumption of green tea to warm water and lemon every morning – to the more extreme: the paleo diet. Roberta Snider is a personal trainer and Owner of Personal Edge training in downtown Kitchener. She joins us now to debunk fads, myths and shares tips on how to get fit and healthy.

1:45 – Kevin Thaler

A new Deputy Chief for Regional Police was announced this morning at the Police Services Board Meeting. Superintendent Kevin Thaler takes over the role on April 1st.  He replaces Deputy Chief Stephen Beckett who is retiring. Thaler joined the service in 1988. He has also held the position of Sergeant and Inspector.
