Pedestrian hit in downtown Kitchener, driver now charged

A Kitchener man was taken to hospital with a head injury after being struck by a vehicle while trying to cross King Street.
Waterloo Regional Police say the 60-year-old was in the crosswalk at King and Cedar just before two yesterday afternoon when he was struck by a vehicle.
Police say a 45-year-old Cambridge woman is charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
There’s no word on the seriousness of injuries.
