An Enteric outbreak has been declared at Cambridge Memorial Hospital’s 5B Medicine Unit.
Three patients are sick with the respiratory illness, and have been placed in isolation – one staff and one student are also ill.
More health measures have been put in place, including extra cleaning of the unit and hospital and visitor restrictions are in effect for the one unit.
Officials are asking anyone to stay home if they have symptoms which include a fever, cough, sore throat, vomiting or diarrhea.
