Fire in Waterloo puts man in hospital

An apartment fire in Waterloo sends one man to hospital.
Waterloo Regional Police say it broke out shortly before three yesterday afternoon on Union Street East.
Police a 63-year-old Waterloo man was taken to Grand River Hospital for assessment.
The cause remains under investigation but at this point it does not appear to be suspicious.
No damage figure is available.
