Expect more cold and snow in March

The coldest February on record is finally over.
Looking ahead to March, the trend of bitter cold and heavy snowfalls doesn’t seem to be over.
Spring is 19 days away but don’t expect any spring like conditions this month.
570 News Weather Specialist John Wilson says colder than average temperatures are expected this month and he doesn’t expect any above average temperature days.
He says winter doesn’t want to loosen its’ icy grip with several more Arctic blasts likely.
Five extreme cold warnings were issued in February and several low temperature records were broken.
