12:00pm- Bell Bitch
IN STUDIO: Hayley Zimak
Imagine calling your service provider about a bill issue and being called a ‘slut’ and a ‘bitch’ because of the rating you gave to the call centre agent. Bell Canada client, 21 year old Leticia Chartier says that’s exactly what happened to her on January 23rd. She asked why her bill went up – and was reportedly told by Mohamed Boutallaka that the promotion had expired and that she needed to be put through to a different department. She says he begged her not to give him a bad rating – and said she received ‘pretty good service.’ A few minutes later, she found a message in her inbox, calling her the nasty names. She complained to Bell and spoke with a supervisory on the phone who apologized. Due to the language barrier, Leticia was not comfortable speaking on air with us…but she did tell us via Facebook that the Moroccan based employee has been dismissed.

Her relatives are hoping test results will reveal why she died after drinking something called “tobacco purge tea.” The hallucinogenic tea is supposed to provide a spiritual cleanse through purging.
