The City of Kitchener Declares Snow Event Starting at 7 a.m. today.
Residents are to remove cars from streets or risk being ticketed and towed.
Motorists disobeying the parking ban risk an $80 fine and being towed at the owners expense.
City officials have extended the parking ban until Tuesday, February 3rd at 11:59 p.m.
The city says the decision is based on weather conditions and credible forecasts.
