1:00 – Chopped Canada/Superbowl food

A Waterloo firefighter is a culinary contender on Chopped Canada – and is set to make an appearance on an upcoming episode – scheduled to air on Valentine’s Day. Up for grabs: a 10-thousand dollar prize. He’s been a firefighter for 16 years and also runs a catering business on the side with his fiancé. As Superbowl Sunday quickly approaches, his Station One colleagues working during the game are in for a delicious treat. We’re hearing meatball sliders and a hot onion soufflé is on the menu.
1:30 – Coach’s Show
The Kitchener Rangers do battle against the Owen Sound Attack tonight, the first of a three game homestand against divisional opponents. Guelph visits the Aud on Saturday with the Knights in town next Tuesday. Rangers are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Steelheads in Mississauga last Sunday. Puck drop is 7:30 tonight, the pre-game show with Don and Mike gets underway at 7 on 570 News.
