Crossing guard hit by vehicle in Kitchener

A crossing guard was sent to hospital after getting hit by a vehicle near St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police say he was hit on Queen’s Boulevard after school on Wednesday.

The 63-year-old’s injuries are not considered serious.

The driver, 77, is charged with failing to yield to a crossing guard.
