This coming September, St. Ambrose CES and St. Anne CES in Cambridge will join together at the St. Ambrose School site to begin forming the new St. Anne Catholic Elementary School community.
This comes as the board of trustees voted in 2013 to close St. Ambrose CES and complete upgrades to St. Anne Caholic Elementary School.
Students will attend St. Ambrose CES school site, while St. Anne’s school site is undergoing renovations. The school site, however, will be called St. Anne Catholic Elementary School.
Officials say classes from both schools will be blended together in an effort to allow students to maintain current friendships while creating new ones.
Kindergarten registrations will be accepted at both school sites in February, 2015 for the 2015-16 school year but parents who register at St. Anne should know their child will actually start school in September, 2015 at the St. Ambrose school site.
A Community Open House will be held in February to review preliminary construction plans for St. Anne.
