Two successful local events went ahead as planned last night – Bill Cosby, at Centre in the Square, and Voices Carry, held at Dallas Nightclub, downtown Kitchener. Mike Farwell and a small team of community members put the Voices Carry event together in less than 6 weeks’ time – an alternative option to Cosby’s show. Over 10-thousand dollars has now been raised for the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region and Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.
