Friday, November 7th is Random Act of Kindness Day in Waterloo Region.

The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation in partnership with local community leaders, are asking people to share photos or videos on social media of random acts of kindness happening in our community.

By performing an act of kindness, posting it online, and then nominating at least three others using the hashtag #RAKNom to do the same, officials are hoping the kindness will spread.

“Kindness is the fabric which holds a community together,” said The KWCF CEO, Rosemary Smith. “Whether it’s helping someone in need or taking extra time to do something thoughtful – kindness can and does change lives.”
