Many of us have already broken out the winter coats as the mercury dropped off over the weekend.
For some in our community however, they have no winter gear to keep them warm.
That’s where the 2014 One Warm Coat Campaign comes in.
Once again this year, the Rogers Kitchener Radio Group, which includes 570 News, CHYM 96.7 and Country 106.7, has teamed up with the Salvation Army to collect and distribute coats to those in need.
Between today and November 9th, you can drop off new and gently used coats at nine Jiffy Lube locations in Waterloo Region and area. CLICK HERE for the locations.
Our radio station is also a drop off location.
Since the program launched over seven years ago, thousands of coats have been donated to the campaign.
