Police identify human remains found in Guelph

Guelph Police say human remains found on Monday are that of Wayne Rutledge. The 37-year-old went missing in December 2012.

Police say at this point foul play is not suspected.

His identity was confirmed during a forensic examination in Toronto on Tuesday, using dental records.

Police say there was a large scale search conducted in 2012 and 2013 for Rutledge.

The remains were found in a field near Arrow Road.
