Environment Canada is advising of near zero visibility in some areas.
The weather authority says that the fog may become quite dense in quite a few locations and motorists should be prepared for sudden low visibility in areas of dense fog tonight into Friday morning.
They are also advising drivers to allow extra time to reach their destination.
The fog will lift Friday morning, but in the meantime, travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If travelling, be prepared for areas of near zero visibility.
