Cambridge school under hold and secure Thursday morning

Students at Jacob Hespeler Secondary School in Cambridge were under a Hold and Secure Thursday morning.
Regional Police tell 570 News, they received reports of a suspicious person in the area who may or may not have had a gun. No person has been found at this time.
A hold and secure is much different than a lockdown.
Hold and Secure means there is an ongoing situation outside the school and unrelated to the school.
Everything will run normally, but the doors and windows will be locked.
Two schools in Guelph were also under “Hold and Secure” on Wednesday.
