Taking an in depth look at the Community and Victim’s Survey results.  Drugs, distracted drivers, overall crime and safety are among the top priorities residents want police to focus on. Regionally 37% of respondents said they felt not safe at night in any of the downtown cores locally, with Kitchener residents found to feel the least safe in their downtown area. This is the third time the survey has been conducted by Regional Police, and they say the results will be used in part of the service’s strategic plan.

With more than 50,000 post-secondary students once again calling Waterloo Region home for the next 8 months was everyone behaving themselves during  the first weekend at the bars and clubs?
