WRPS welcomes seven new officers

The Waterloo Regional Police Service will welcome seven new officers to its ranks this afternoon.
The officers, who just completed their basic training at the Ontario Police College, will receive their badges and be sworn in during a noon hour ceremony at Cambridge City Hall.
WRPS says the new members have worked in a variety of fields including military, education and athletics.
