Gas rates could rise for Kitchener residents

If you live in Kitchener – your natural gas bill could look different come September 1st. A recommendation heading to council August 11th would see gas rates increase 4.7 per cent.
That’s about $40 dollars a year for the average customer.
The report says the rate will result in a significantly lower overall customer impact than those approved by the Ontario Energy Board earlier this year.
