Community builder, Joan Euler passes away at 74

Long time community builder, Joan Euler has passed away.

The 74 year old died last night due to health issues.

In April, THEMUSEUM held a fundraising event to celebrate her many contributions to arts and culture in Waterloo Region.

CEO David Marskell says she will be greatly missed.

“Joan was a huge force in this community for arts and culture and certainly for this organization, THEMUSEUM. She took me by the arm when I first arrived and introduced me to people across the community. She’ll certainly be missed.”

Her visitation will be held this Friday at the Erb & Good Funeral Home on King Street in Waterloo between 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.

The funeral will take place Saturday, June 7th at 10 at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Kitchener. There will be a reception following the funeral at 5pm at THEMUSEUM on 10 King Street West. Kitchener

The Family has requested in lieu of flowers people are welcome to make donations to THEMUSEUM.
