A dog alleged to have attacked another dog and its owner in Kitchener is now in quarantine at the K-W Humane Society.
Regional Police say a woman was walking her dog Saturday morning in the Sydney Street South area when another dog, that was unleashed and in an unfenced yard, attacked them.
The woman and her dog suffered minor injuries.
Police say the offending dog did not have its vaccinations and since the owner was unwilling to pay for them, it was turned over to the Humane Society.
As for the breed of the dog, authorities are still trying to confirm that.
Police say the owner believes her dog is an American Bulldog/Sharpie cross.
