10:00- The parents of a young boy are outraged after police handcuffed the nine year-old at school
The parents of a nine-year-old boy say they are outraged after discovering police handcuffed their son as they rushed to see him, after staff at his school deemed him a threat to the school’s safety. Police spokesperson Olaf Heinzel said the school contacted police after the boy swung hockey sticks around at staff and students in a school hallway. The boy later walked outside of the school building, prompting staff to put the building into “hold and secure” mode, where no one is allowed to enter or exit the building. The boy’s parents said no one from the police or the school told them their son swung hockey sticks at others. Police found him kicking and striking the front door of the school as they arrived, and put him in handcuffs to keep him from injuring himself. “He has mental health issues, he’s on medication,” Danielle Moffatt, the boy’s mother said. “And (the school) is very aware of his problems and his issues and what to do and what not to do.”

A man killed six people in a drive by shooting on Friday night in California. On Thursday night the apparent shooter made a video explaining why he was going to embark on the murderous rampage. In this video the man stated that he was a 22-year-old virgin who couldn’t attract women. As such, he stated that he would seek “retribution” against women for this supposed crime. His plan was to enter a sorority house and kill all of the women inside. Men will react to this horrifying story in many ways. Most men will probably be disturbed, and condemn the murderer for his actions. Others will crack jokes about the apparent murderer’s inability to pick up women, and scoff at how pathetic he appears. I want to call on men to react in a different way.
