Elevator Crash in Kitchener

A man is recovering after falling eight floors at a downtown Kitchener building yesterday.
Today’s Record reports David Niles was stuck on the fourth floor for forty minutes before the elevator was manually brought down to the ground by the fire department.
He was reportedly locking up the building at the end of the day when the elevator fell.
His shoulder was grazed as a ceiling greate fell past him.
