Regional Police continue to investigate after a man approached three girls under the age of 12 in Waterloo, and they’ve now released a composite image and an updated description of the suspect. Police say the girls were playing at the creek bed off Parkside Drive near the back of Sunnydale Place on Monday.
Police say the suspect approached them, spoke to one of the girls, and as he got closer he reportedly touched her. The girls left the scene, and police were called.
The suspect is described as a white male, around 20 years old, with no facial hair, light brown hair, blue eyes, with a scratch on the right side of his face near his ear. He had a skinny build, around 5’4″ to 5’6″ in height. At the time he was wearing blue jeans which were faded in the knee area with no back pockets, and he was wearing a plain brown shirt with no writing or graphics. He was wearing black ‘Sketchers’ running shoes.
