E-F 1 tornado touches down in Bruce County

The first tornado of the season in Southern Ontario has been confirmed in Bruce County.
Environment Canada has confirmed an E-F 1 Tornado touched down near Mildmay just after 5 o’clock last night.
Investigators say one home suffered considerable damage when the roof was torn off, and windows were blown out.
Three other homes in the area also suffered damage, so did two barns and several hydro poles were also downed.
Officials with the weather service say the tornado path was around two kilometers long with wind gusts of around 150 km/hour.
